O! though I love what others do abhor,

..GIVING & RECIEVING ..

Just a random thought ..
IS giving ... helping others .. putting others before you ..being selfless... a better feeling ... or just being on the other side ..asking for help ....being selfish in a normal amount (not mean but not being mahatma at the same time )... better feeling or better behaviour !!
I wont say i have always been a giver ..but yeah major times i have been the one helping others.
maybe that's because i have less personal problems ..or less boyfriend issues..and even lesser issues with girlfriends. Not that i don't have problems but not those killing or sleepless nights types of problems..!! And even if i have i never let trifles bring me down.
There have been times when i started believing that people turn to me only in time of need and stress.. and then they might just walk over me.. i have dreaded this , always..!!
Never has happened but i'll make sure it never will happen . I mean we should preach "help others..be selfless " but don't be a fool...be strong enough to draw a line because people are never as sweet/helpless as we assume them to be!! .. Don't do it for them ..rather support them to make them feel that they are strong enough to face their problems !! That it's their life and they know how to deal with it !! That is the best WE can do .. WE cannot spoon feed them !!
But as much as i have helped others i have equally recieved ... i have best of friends who have been with me through my tough times... i have love and support of my parents ..who are genuinely the most understanding people in the whole universe.., love and blessings of grandfather ... the patience and care of elder sister.. and some amazing forever friends and cousins who are there to listen to all my crap..!!
BUT as much as i say that recieving love fills you up and enlightens you ... Giving love and help ..and advices makes me feel much-much stronger , happier and satisfied...!!
It's like being able to complete a task that has been set in front of you and your reward is no noble prize or a lottery but that smile , ease , the tears of joy and that happiness on the face of the person you are helping !! .. That's not something valuable for many.. for me its priceless... something that has it's oown beauty and realism .. !!
Then as i start enjoying the fact that there is some good in the world .. and realise that being good to others is harmless... phuuuf... there is a blow..i slowly realise.. people are not even being grateful enough for the good you do and show their so called "attitude" and "arrogance"..!! I dont ask for personal glory but just some respect which i think not just me but every person who put others before them totally deserve..!!
It has happened many times that after being selfless i have got hurt .. but the truth is i dont care any more , I love to give ... i think it's one of the most essential characteristics that makes me believe that am still HUMAN in this world of opputrtunity grabbers..!! And therefore i demand nothing in return.. not like in a MOTHER TERESA wayy ... but yeaa.. in a BEING HUMAN wayy ... :)
"Why should we expect gratitude in return of small favours or the so called huge favours we do .. when out of the seven lepers Jesus cured ..only 1 stopped to say thank you to JESUS ...!!"
When i read this .. i realised that I am nobody to ask for it .. As much as i believe in living life your way ..and living to the fullest I equally believe in doing good and supporting others and making them feel good about themselves...!! :)
SO i guess For me.. GIVING Is far better then recieving .. or maybe they are equally Important and good.. because without recieving what would i have to give... and therefore like a cycle it goes on. THE MORE I GIVE THE MORE I RECIEVE ... or THE MORE I RECIEVE THE MORE I GIVE .. :)
guess they are both interdependent after all.
So as much as you are open to recieve be open to give... share it with all and one.. make that everlasting place for your good self on this blue earth .. where there is scarcity of joy and everyone craves for love and respect as much as they feast on it!!

Somehow this line fits the very situation ….
Anyway … what I actually had to say was that I finally realized the difference between “LIKE” and “LOVE”..!!!
“LIKE” is … All the immature infatuations & “obsessions” and when all you do is look out for his favorites and try to make them “your” favorites … without even knowing them and then when that image is flushed – coz you realize that they are not what you thought they really are… you are left alone …”heartbroken” … - and then you curse the person for “entering your life” … and feel betrayed … etc.
But what we never realized is that they never promised us anything …. They never asked us to like them or think of them differently or simply “feel” it for them …!! They were probably themselves all along in their own “life” - living it – with their friends – and what we always overlook is that it might be that our heart “longs” for them but that Brain all along says that “ something is wrong here “..;)
All this never happens in “LOVE” …
When you know the person .. When you feel it for them not because they are "happening" .. or they are all those things that you want them to be.. but because they are themselves....
Because now the heart and the brain direct to that 1 person ... Because everything feels right when you are with them ..and then you realize that everything that you want in "your guy" ... They already HAVE IT ...!!
because now you really don't care if they love you .. all you care about is if they are really happy :)
I know we all want love to be reciprocated but it is never the same .. It is never a fairytale for everyone.!!!
But it could be if you want it to be .. !!
When we LOVE some1 .. REALLY LOVE .. . we stop believing in the quote "LOVE IS BLIND" ...
Coz "true love is not blind .. But sees all the faults and does not mind" .... :)
IT's not the question of since when ? ... it's the question of ...
is this forever ??
Is this the person that would promise me forever ? .. coz i might say that its okay "kissing" in the first week of relationship and it's okay to do it before marriage ... etc
but the TRUTH is I never can do this to myself .. I can never givin until I believe that except that 1 person there is going to be no 1 else..
Now I realise what it meant when some1 said to me . "if not for that person am not gonna get married at all" ..
That same love can never happen again ...

I know it's almost impossible to be some1's first and last in today's world.. but if not his first atleast his last ... :)

THE 'V' WeEK .. ..♥

We all try defining "LOVE" ....in our own way ...the way we feel it.. the way we want it.....and the way we get it ..

just yesterday i read this - and i found it extremely cute ^_^

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday"...- Noelle, Age 7 (participant in a survey of 4-8 year old's asked to define love )..

Even a 7yr old kid defined love.. and when you get 17 its too damn difficult defining LOVE ... duh !!

As February comes by ...everyone wants someone to be by their side ...to make them feel special ..as its the Valentine month. But is it just 1day or 1month ... or about that 1 hr you spend with them .. ?? Isn't it about lifetime ....that Forever feeling ... that's unquestionable... and undefined.. !!

LOVE .. LOVE .. LOVE ... ♥

LOVE - It means EVERYTHING to me ... I am nothing without LOVE... it completes me .. it makes me ..i accept LOVE in any form .. i believe in LOVE no matter what ...I trust love .. cause the very foundation of my relationships is LOVE ... it is not just valentine's day for me .. it's my life ... its the reason of my being ..its the reason i get through all the ups and the downs ( in particular) ... :)

Don't get me wrong i am in no way against Valentine's day .. no no .. it's undoubtedly .. 1 of the most romantic days ..But only if we promise to make it a special something not just for 1 month .. let every day be valentine's day ♥

This Valentine's ... Some of must be with the one we really love and would never let go of them .. some of us would be with the one who really love us and would never let go of us ... while the lucky ones would be SINGLE ..... and the REALLY LUCKY one's would be with the one's they would never let go of and who in turn would never let them go ...!!

But no matter what .. i really wish ... not just the month of February .. the whole year is filled with LOVE .. as we make our sweethearts feel special THIS month ..... may that love STAY ... & spread all through the year :)
