A Thing Of Beauty ..

Let us try defining the word "beauty" : Beauty to me is something that is inspiring and yet simple and elegant . Be it a good hearted women or man , a beautifully written book or be it delectable food , the beauty of nature .. the green parks or the windy rain .. all these forms are hallmark of beauty.

Beauty is desirous and irresistible .. but the thought that engulfs me is the fact that beauty is now limited to faces and features. It is not characterised by anything other than surface beauty.. !!
Is it the surface beauty that enchants us all or is it the striking beauty of the inner being that makes us their slave.. !!??

Real Beauty is not only about looking good.. or wearing the right and expensive dresses .. Real beauty is the love and sacrifice of the parents for their children .. real beauty lies in the bond of true friendship and love .. Real beauty is not bound in societal standards and images it is above all this and is REAL in every sense .. !!

It is the purity of the heart and soul which is termed as Real beauty and not the perfect curves on a women's silhouette or the perfect color of the skin . It doesn't make sense to me why would anyone prefer beauty of the looks over the beauty of the heart!!?

For me Beauty lies in the act of goodness , irrespective of the external beauty I would always judge a person based on internal beauty . I do not condemn external beauty but I condemn it's preference over internal beauty. External beauty would fade with time but what remains is the beauty of humanity ..!!

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.

-John Keats

These line say it all .. the joy , the sweet dreams.. beauty brings with it all the goodness of life ...!!

Our deepest fear

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so
that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other
people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”

A planned GAME or just LIFE !!??

"The Gods throw the dice, and they don't ask whether we want to be in the game or not. They don't care if when you go,you leave behind a lover,a home, a career or a dream. The Gods don't care whether you have it all, whether your every desire can be met through hardwork and persistence. The Gods don't want to know about your plans and hopes.Somewhere they're throwing the dice and you get chosen. From then on,winning and losing is only a question of luck."
-Paulo Coelho.

I mean really !! Does God not really care at all . Is this all fake then . This devotion and visiting temples with love filled in our heart!! I mean I trust God and I by no means am questioning his existence but my question is
DOES HE CARE ??
I mean does he cry seeing that the man who spent more then half his life worshiping him and devoted his existence to God is in so much pain at this very moment. Does it not make him want to make things better for the poor and the helpless creatures. I mean Life is hard and we are supposed to learn the hard way.. bla . bla.. bla.. But some people really get it all easy and not the hard way and trust me they are not even that good at heart !! I mean have they learnt all there is supposed to be learnt..?? or are they simply God's special children !! I am always against partiality !! If they say that it's very important to trust in God in times of both stress and joy ... then why does an athiest still "live" a better lifestyle then the one who spends his entire life meditating and reaching the path to God !?

What we do then is simply leave the whole situation with "It was destined to happen so it happened !!" I mean really is that the answer to all these theological questions !! Then why do we even move a muscle !? huh .. if it's destined to happen it would happen !!
I mean it's not pre-destined... destiny exists if we let things take their own course and destiny still exists if we take actions for something to happen . We are conditioned to believe that it is not in our hands whereas it actually is in our hands (not every bit of it but yes some parts completely are !! )
Its not our capability that decides what kind of person we are but our decisions.

The whole point of my post is .. does this all really matter to him ..?? All these musings and devotion and goodness. Does that supreme being really care at all ?? or is he just watching a movie and crying with it with popcorns in his hand .. and as soon the movie is over he wipes out those tears and then has a good enough time with his friends over dinner ..!!
It infuriates me to think right now that "everything happens for a reason" when clearly I see no good reason at all in the kind of situation I am in !! I have not a single soul around me right now who in the least could understand what I am going through but thats oka because God makes me only suffer in a very "dear" and "special" way .Even the long discussions with my
best-est buddies is not making sense to me any more.
He has taught me ALWAYS !!
And I am always gonna continue learning ...
And in the end I would say its better to trust him and believe in yourself then put up these questions in front of him and yourself cause literally no good can come of it.

have a great day ahead :)

Shakespeare Sonnet 141: In Faith I Do Not Love Thee With Mine Eyes

In faith I do not love thee with mine eyes,
For they in thee a thousand errors note;
But 'tis my heart that loves what they despise,
Who, in despite of view, is pleased to dote.
Nor are mine ears with thy tongue's tune delighted;
Nor tender feeling, to base touches prone,
Nor taste, nor smell, desire to be invited
To any sensual feast with thee alone:
But my five wits nor my five senses can
Dissuade one foolish heart from serving thee,
Who leaves unswayed the likeness of a man,
Thy proud heart's slave and vassal wretch to be:
Only my plague thus far I count my gain,
That she that makes me sin awards me pain.
